Brielle's first overnight vacation was to Grammy Barbara's and Kelly's house in Bandon, Oregon. It was a 4 1/2 hour ride, and she did great both directions, sleeping almost the entire trip.
We left on Brielle's 5-month-old birthday, but the main reason for the trip was to celebrate Aunt Amy's baby shower. The theme for Amy and her little girl was "Amy's Day at the Ballpark". The celebration included baseball decorations, hotdogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and this cute cake (the brown part is a bat, by the way).
Brielle enjoyed meeting Aunt Amy, Aunt Kelly, and Uncle Tim for the first time. Here's a shot of her and Aunt Kelly...
Brielle also spent a lot of time getting to know Aunt Amy and hanging out with her cousin, Baby Girl Sermersheim (in Amy's belly)...
