Our Christmas celebrations at home started with an early visit with Grammy and Kelly! Grammy will be in LA around Christmas to welcome Brielle's new cousin into the world, so she and Kelly visited us early. The reunion of Grammy and Brielle is always special.
Brielle showed Grammy and Kelly her new toys...
...and made sure everyone had a hat to wear.
We decorated the tree together. Brielle chose a spot for last year's "Brielle" ornament.
Because Brielle was in charge of decorating the tree, most of the ornaments ended up at the bottom.
Daddy set up the light-up decorative villages around the room, and Mommy put the traditional swinging Brielle head on the clock.
The next morning, Brielle woke up to find a wonderful surprise under the tree - a Thomas the Train Christmas village set from Grammy and Kelly running around the base of the tree!
Santa Kelly has to take a couple parts into his workshop to make a quick fix, then it worked wonderfully.
"All better!" Brielle exclaimed.
Then it was time to open gifts!
Brielle got a lot of great gifts from Grammy, Kelly, Mommy, Daddy, and Aunt Kelly and Uncle Tim.
