Happy 3rd birthday, Brielle!

Out little girl is 3 years old! At her annual pediatrician appointment, she weighed in at 36 lbs. 8 oz. (92nd percentile) and was 39 inches high (91st percentile).

For her birthday we decorated the bonus room with her favorite Toy Story friends and Curious George.

Brielle still loves Jessie the cowgirl, so I made some Jessie hat cookies for her the night before the party.

Brielle was thrilled that Grammy and Kelly came for the celebration. Grammy's birthday is coming up, so we also had a celebration for her. Brielle gave her a photo of her first day going to preschool.

Brielle always has a great time playing with Kelly (and apparently trying to wear him out).

Time to open presents!

We spread out the gift opening throughout the day and evening because Brielle wanted a chance to try out each gift as soon as she received it.

Several of her gifts were Toy Story themed.

We took a break from opening presents to make cupcakes...

Jessie liked them.

 

Brielle did too.

We fit in a couple of phone calls and a Skype session with family.

For dinner, we each made our own pizzas from scratch.

Then...more presents!

 

We got so much snow on Brielle's birthday that we had to give her the last present on a delay - a sandbox from Granddad Scott.

We wanted to have it all set up for her so she could play in it immediately - she loved it! She has some other gifts coming on a delay, so she'll get to stretch out her birthday celebration even longer.

Brielle now knows that she's going to have a little brother and that he's in Mommy's belly. Some sometimes draws a face on my belly then talks to the baby in a sweet voice. She'll kiss him and say, "Night night, baby".
