Brielle and Ronan were sad to see Grandma Pat and Grandma Sue go. But just a few days later they enjoyed a week-long visit from Papa Duane and Nana Karen! They were very excited to meet Ronan and spent a lot of time holding him.
They also had a lot of fun with Brielle, who has become more talkative, imaginative, and mature.
They brought great gifts for both kids. Brielle helped Ronan open his.
Papa joined Brielle in the yard to play with one of her new gifts.
Brielle showed them some of her favorite activities, like jumping on the trampoline and doing gymnastics.
As a special surprise, Papa brought his treasured childhood train set to hand down to the grandkids.
Part-way through their visit...even more grandparents! Grammy Barbara and Kelly returned to see the kids again and help Mommy and Daddy catch up on sleep and do other activities.

Ronan is still too young to do activities in public, but that didn't stop the family from enjoying outings with Brielle.
Papa, Nana, Daddy, Great Uncle Phil, and Great Aunt Karen took Brielle to the Evergreen Aviation Museum, where she got to see plenty of planes and rockets (which she loves), watch a 3-D IMAX movie,...
...and splash around at the new water park next door! Yes, that's an airplane with slides coming out of it. I stayed home to take care of Ronan, so I don't have any photos of her having fun there. From other people's photos it looked like an impressive place.
Today, Grammy and Daddy took Brielle to the Enchanted Forest theme park down by Salem, where she had a great time.
Activities at home included tying coconut for the first time. It remains to be seen whether she will have an aversion to coconut like Mommy. At first she said it was yummy. Later she said it was yucky.
One of her favorite activities is watching Kelly do household projects...and helping him...
Brielle's new phase appears to be "Spider Man". We think she must have heard about him from other kids at school. She asks to watch episodes of the old TV show on Netflix, and asked us over and over for a Spider Man outfit, which we finally got her yesterday.
Meanwhile, Ronan continues to develop and get cuter and more interactive.
