Ronan is 5 months old today! This past month has been amazing, as far as his developments. He's really made the transition from an infant to a little baby with a personality all his own. Ronan can now roll over and use his hands to play with toys, grab things, and hold his bottle. He's really interested in toys and his feet, and he's putting everything in his mouth. He has at least one tooth coming in on the bottom. We started putting him in the "Jumperoo" at the beginning of this month, and pretty soon he was able to spin around and jump up and down with delight.
He's really enjoying eating solid foods, so we're glad that we didn't put it off until a later date. Ronan is very social and attached to us. He loves looking at us and being held by us, and he continues to be fascinated by everything that Brielle does. He often cries when we leave the room because he gets lonely. He loves when we hold him up in a standing position. The moment we do this he flashes a huge, proud smile.
Meanwhile, Brielle has been enjoying Christmas preparations. We recently built a candy house together (which we actually ate...and it was tasty!)
Today she had her final "Dancing Princesses" class at the community center. We signed her up for more classes after Christmas. She loves dancing and interacting with the other kids.
Brielle has many interests and "phases". In one moment she wants to be a princess, and the next she wants to be Spider Man or some other superhero. We're glad she finds excitement in so many different things.
Brielle has also been singing a lot recently, which is wonderful. She delights in remembering lyrics to songs...and in making up words or lip-synching when she doesn't know the words. Her current favorites are the songs from Caillou's Holiday Movie and Justin Bieber's "Baby baby baby" song.
