Two weeks ago, Grandma Pat came for a visit!
We had fun around the house, went to restaurants, she watched Brielle in her Taekwondo class, and she helped us out by taking some family photos that we couldn't take ourselves. She also watched the kids early mornings so we could sleep in! Thanks, Mom!
While the kids were in school, Mommy and Grandma Pat snuck out to the annual Tulip Festival south of Portland.
Unfortunately, Grandma Pat was here for some rainy days. But on festival day there was only a little drizzle and some nice breaks of sunshine through the clouds.
It was really nice to have some alone time with my Mom. Sorry about the lack of kid photos here, but I feel compelled to put up some beautiful flower photos...
For our next excursion we brought Brielle to the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens (Ronan was napping).
Along with tons of beautiful blooming rhododendrons and azaleas, there's a lake with ducks and geese.
We all had a wonderful visit with Grandma Pat!
