Two weeks ago we drove to Deland to celebrate Thanksgiving with Papa, Nana, Aunt Amy, Uncle Todd, and Cousin Stella!

We had a great meal and enjoyed hanging out and talking with everyone. As always, the passage of time didn't seem to matter - the cousins immediately got along marvelously with each other and had a great time.

Our tradition with Papa and Nana is to celebrate an "early Christmas" the day after Thanksgiving.

Papa and Nana gave the kids some nice clothes that they really liked.
We walked out onto the course so the kids could try out their new clubs. They had a great time on the putting range, hitting balls as far as they could.
After returning to St. Augustine, the kids used their clubs to play at our local miniature golf place.
After leaving Deland, Stella's family came to stay at our house for a night, seeing it for the first time. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and a visit to our pier, then we headed out to a nearby restaurant on the beach.

After we ordered food, I took the kids down to the beach to run around in the sunset.
