Brielle is 10 months old today!

Unfortunately, after the holidays, all three of us caught a bad cold that lasted a couple weeks. This was the first time that Brielle had gotten sick, and we felt so bad for her. Luckily she seemed to have a milder version of the cold that wiped out her Mom and Dad. Except for some coughing and sleep disturbances, she remained good-natured and continued to enjoy playing with her new toys.
Her favorite activities now involve standing up, whether it's walking quickly along her Playzone wall or impressing everyone with the sounds she can make with her new Musical Table.
Brielle also loves physical activities, like having Mommy or Daddy bounce her up and down or swing her around. Here, Daddy is playing a back-and-forth flying game called "Tick-tock".
Brielle continues to be fascinated with our faces and bodies, grabbing our faces and hair and crawling on and over us whenever she gets the chance. She now has one upper tooth, in addition to her two lower teeth, so we have to watch out for biting now. This last month she's developed a fascination for belly buttons. We're not sure why she started doing it, but whenever someone lies down in her play area, she immediately crawls up to them, lifts their shirts, and puts her finger in their belly buttons.
And of course she continues to gravitate towards "forbidden objects" whenever they're near.
At the end of the month, Brielle enjoyed another wonderful visit from Grammy Barbara.
