Brielle turned 20 months old today! This last month has been really fun. She's seemed a little happier than last month, when she was experiencing some separation anxiety and sadness when away from Mommy and Daddy. Now she's a little calmer and is enjoying self-play more. Brielle likes following us around the house, copying our actions. Here she is carrying her baby around in Mommy's carrier...
Brielle has always been a lot taller than average, and having a big, tall little girl is presenting some challenges now. She's able to crawl over her Playzone walls and can easily reach items on counters and in drawers. On the positive side, she's enjoying some new abilities, like doing somersaults, dressing and undressing herself (with some help), running, and climbing.
Brielle is talking more too. She's actually speaking about one new word a day, but we're really amazed by how much she understands. For example, we can say "Where's your other sock?" and she'll walk into the next room to locate it and bring it to us. Sometimes Brielle picks out an outfit that she wants to wear. She also likes putting on this headband (by herself).

Today we got our first snowfall of the season...

Brielle hopes everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
