This year we're joining family in Los Angeles for Christmas. However, Brielle received several large gifts that we can't take with us. So, it was time to decorate the house and start celebrating early at home!
We put up and decorated the tree, set out the lighted village figurines, put up garlands, and dressed up the baby. Brielle helped us out...
She hung last year's Brielle ornament on the tree. When she sees it, she says, "Baby!"
Grammy Barbara and Kelly drove up to help us celebrate.
Some of Brielle's gifts were as big as she is!
Brielle received giant building blocks, a tricycle, a water play table...
...and a bright red mini Audi car.
Right after opening it, she took off. "Bye bye!" she said as she rode away.
At first, Brielle wasn't sure what to think about a toy penguin that was almost her size.
But she warmed up to it quickly, giving it hugs and kisses.
Brielle was very excited to receive a "Caillou" doll (her favorite cartoon character). "Cai!" she called out, recognizing him immediately. He was tightly fastened into the box, so Brielle waited patiently as Kelly freed him.
When the show comes on TV, Brielle makes the Caillou doll dance to the theme song.
Brielle had a wonderful early Christmas and loves her gifts. Thank you!
We're looking forward to seeing everyone soon and having more celebrations with family.
