Last weekend we made our first visit to the Portland Children's Museum, in Washington Park next door to the zoo.
The museum has many rooms with different themes and activities, like "Water Works"...
...the "Clay Studio"...
...and a room with vehicles. Brielle loves to "vroom vroom!"
Her favorite room was the "Baby Garden" for kids under 3. There was an aquarium...
Her favorite room was the "Baby Garden" for kids under 3. There was an aquarium......and a fun area where you can make shadows...
...but her favorite part was the slide! She went up the stairs and down the slide, then she walked up the slide, then she walked down the slide...the joy lasted close to an hour!
There were other rooms with activities for older kids, so there will be plenty to explore in future visits.
