Our family is fortunate to have a super-long holiday season. Our first Christmas celebration happens right after Thanksgiving in Kansas, and there are always later Christmas celebrations after the 25th and gifts that we can open after getting back home.

This year we also hosted a holiday celebration for my workplace, the Center for Family and Adolescent Research.

Brielle had a lot of fun playing with 5-year-old, Aili. They shared toys and Aili pushed Brielle around on her tricycle.

Unfortunately, Brielle became very sad when Aili left. She cried, "Bye bye...no...bye bye...no".

Brielle's final Christmas celebration involved opening gifts from Mommy's best friend, Monica, and her daughter, Mia, in Florida. They sent Brielle some wonderful clothes that Mia wore when she was a toddler. Brielle also received an art kit to create a handprint ornament. (She's holding it to her cheek because Mommy told her not to put it in her mouth.)

Brielle opened another gift...
