Last weekend, we took a trip down to Bandon to visit Grammy Barbara and Kelly! The weather was beautiful, and the coastline was gorgeous as always.

(I just love taking photos of the Bandon beaches!). It was windy, though. Well...that's why it's not over-run with people.

Brielle did well on the 4.5-hour ride south, and she was very excited when she realized who we were visiting. "Cheers!"

She greeted her doggie friends, Rosie and Sophie.

Grammy and Kelly have an incredible home with a beautiful view of a lake.

We enjoyed hanging out in the sun on their large back deck. Grammy and Kelly surprised Brielle with a colorful Dora the Explorer trike...

...and a bubble blower.

Brielle wanted it all...she blew bubbles while sitting on the trike.

Brielle loves to explore the outdoors. She frequently grabbed Grammy's hand and walked her down to the lake and along the nature paths in the yard.

We also had fun inside. Grammy and Kelly set up a bowling game with soda cans.

She kept Kelly busy re-setting the cans as she repeatedly kicked the ball and cheered as she knocked the cans down.

She also discovered some hats in Grammy's closet. "Lookin' good!"

The next day, we had a fun visit with Grandpa Taylor and Linda.

Brielle was excited to meet Taylor's dog and Linda's two cats.

She had some important advice for "Mr. White Guy" (great name, Linda)...

Unfortunately, Brielle was feeling sick the day of the visit, so Grandpa and Linda didn't get as many smiles as usual. But we could tell she was happy to see them again.

The next morning Brielle was feeling much better. Since Grammy and Kelly didn't get to be with Brielle on Easter, we decided to have another Easter egg hunt.

The eggs contained yummy smiley snacks. Brielle ate some, then she decided to share with the doggies.

Brielle had one final adventure before leaving...her first trip on a boat!

"Don't worry, Mommy. I'm okay!"

Is that my baby way out there?!

Safe back on land. Of course she stepped on a snake on the way back to the house - Yes, she STEPPED on a SNAKE! I only noticed it was a snake the moment she was stepping on it and quickly grabbed her as it slithered away. I don't think she even noticed it.
We had a wonderful visit, and we're so happy that Brielle has such a magical place to visit as she grows up.
