Last weekend, we took Brielle on her first trip to Oaks Amusement Park in SE Portland. It's a permanent attraction with carnival-sized rides, mostly tailored to kids.
Brielle stuck to the kiddie rides, mostly because she wasn't tall enough for the really scary ones. However she impressed us by wanting to go on the roller coaster, which ended up being a little scarier than she had hoped.
We each got ride bracelets, and there was rarely a wait for the rides, despite the beautiful weather. That meant we got to go on Brielle's favorite rides over and over, including the carousel...
...the motorcycles...

...and her favorite, the cars.

We happened to be there during their Oktoberfest celebration. Large structures were set up with polka bands and a dance floor. Brielle didn't hesitate. She saw the dance floor and knew immediately that her cuteness was required. She ran out to dance.
We visited a second dance pavilion where Brielle was amazed to see a huge "Gwor" (squirrel) out on the dance floor.
After dancing with him, she had a chance to meet him. But she suddenly became shy.
