More Halloween

Brielle had a really fun Halloween. Her school had a full day of celebrations, starting with a trick-or-treating excursion to the neighboring businesses. She warned everyone that a shark was on the loose.

Brielle proudly wore her Jessie the Cowgirl outfit.

Brielle got the hang of it really quickly. We were impressed that she kept the candy in the bag and didn't immediately try to eat it.

In the afternoon, Brielle and her classmates created Halloween-related crafts and played with toys in their trick-or-treat bags. They loved their kazoos and marched around making "music".

Here's Brielle's "Toddler 2" class.

Her best friend seems to be Eugene, the girl on the pink bike. They sometimes hug or hold hands and it's SO cute.

After school, we headed out to meet with a group of vegan families for a specially arranged vegan trick-or-treating excursion at a cute apartment complex.

Here's Brielle trick-or-treating at her first house. After all the practice she got at school, she knew exactly what to do.

We hope everyone had a great Halloween. It's two weeks after Halloween and Brielle is still talking about Halloween and trick-or-treating...and begging for candy, unfortunately.

On another note, last weekend Brielle enjoyed her classmate Coleson's birthday party. It seems to be a tradition around here to have a "Pump it Up" party, where all the kids gather at one of three locations with huge inflatable slides, jumpers, and obstacle courses.
