Brielle brought her favorite toy, Jessie, and introduced her to Rosie and Sophie...or as she now calls them, "MY doggies".
Grammy keeps the house stocked with toys for Brielle to enjoy while she's there. She quickly found the baby boy doll and practiced being a big sister.
Grammy and Kelly know what makes Brielle happy. Whenever she sees a picture of a cupcake at home she says, "Grammy & Kelly's" - maybe she thinks all cupcakes come from their kitchen. It just so happened that her outfit matched the cupcakes!
Our second day there, we headed over to see Grandpa Taylor and Linda for a belated Christmas celebration.
She was excited to see them again and to open all of her fun gifts. A highlight of the visit was seeing "Sassy Dog"!
She let Sassy try on her new Bandon Dunes Golf hat.

The first day in Bandon was rainy and cool, as would be expected in February. But the second day we lucked out with a sunny day. Not warm, but very pretty.

Mommy and Daddy snuck out for some alone time, starting with a view of the beach.
We enjoyed an early Valentine's Day celebration by spending the night alone at a hotel in Port Orford, south of Bandon. Here was the view from our room:
We checked out the local art galleries and shops then drove down to "Agate Beach".

We enjoyed dinner at a nice restaurant with another great view of the coast.

Brielle had fun opening Valentine's cards and gifts that had arrived in the mail from family (Thanks, everyone!)
Happy Valentine's Day!
