Last weekend, Granddad Scott came all the way from Florida to see Brielle and meet Ronan for the first time!

The first day we relaxed and played, finishing with a vegan BBQ in the backyard.

All guests to our house have learned that one of Brielle's favorite activities is racing across the yard or running in circles around the kitchen. "You need to run with me!" Daddy is pictured here but Granddad certainly got his share of exercise too.

The next day we took a day trip up to the Columbia Gorge area (the northern tip of Oregon).

There's a driving loop where you can find fruit farms, animal farms, and wineries.

Mommy, Daddy, and Granddad enjoyed the wines, and Brielle had fun exploring the environment. Ronan mostly slept.

We stopped at a couple fruit farms to browse the markets and take in the mountain views.
One farm was having an annual "salsa festival", which was actually pretty underwhelming. There were some free salsa samples.

And Brielle did enjoy watching a local kids' dance troupe perform.

At one stop Brielle enjoyed feeding some goats...

...and swinging on a "big kids swing".

Since we were in Hood River, we decided to drop by the Tofurky factory! It wasn't open, but we took some fun photos outside. Brielle loves Tofurky...

Back at home, Granddad enjoyed playing with Brielle and bonding with his new grandson.

Thanks for a great visit, Granddad!
