At her 4-year pediatrician appointment, she was 41 3/4 inches tall and 41 lbs. 3 oz - both at the 89th percentile. It was nice that we didn't have any specific concerns to ask the doctor about.
This year we celebrated Brielle's birthday at home with family. We thought about doing a "Pump it Up" party with friends from school, but maybe it's good we didn't do that because two of her classmates had Pump it Up parties this month. She had a wonderful time celebrating with us, Grammy and Kelly.
The theme for this year's party was "Fairies" (featuring Tinker Bell, of course). We hung fairies from the ceiling and filled the room with balloons. Brielle already had two early birthday celebrations, and today she opened gifts from Mommy, Daddy, Ronan, Grammy, Kelly, Aunt Amy, Uncle Todd, Cousin Stella, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Tim, Cousin Emmy, Aunt Anoosh, Uncle Kevin, Cousin Sylvia, Cousin Tavio, and Great Aunt Maxine.
A fairies bedding set! (Brielle is getting a new "big girl" bed and furniture. I'll take a photo after it arrives.)

Brielle loves her gifts, but the balloons were a big hit as well. She loved making Ronan laugh as she zipped past him with a handful of balloons. They're still floating around, over a week later, and Ronan's still obsessed with trying to catch them and eat them.

The kids also had fun Skyping with Cousin Stella and talking on the phone to other family members who wanted to wish Brielle a happy birthday.

Brielle is crazy for cupcakes, so Grammy arrived with special green Tinker Bell cupcakes.

Grammy and Kelly stayed for a few days to play with the kids. Brielle still loves dressing up, and she creates several new outfits every day.
Grammy's birthday is just a week after Brielle's, so while she was here we had a special early birthday celebration for her. Brielle and Ronan gave her framed photos of themselves.

Brielle's current phase is "Cinderella". She loves watching the movie and wearing the Cinderella dress she got at Disney World. She and Kelly pretended that they were Cinderella and the Prince, dancing at the ball.

This month, Brielle also completed her pre-ballet class at the community center.

She did a wonderful job following the teacher and learned a lot of graceful moves.

The teacher approached me and noted how well she's doing in class and said what a special girl she is.
Brielle also took an "art, music, and acting" class. Note that at this age, the "acting" part meant pretending to be various animals. Still, she had a lot of fun.

Starting this month, she's signed up to participate in soccer and basketball classes, so we're trying something new. It's fun to have her participate in various activities to find out what she loves to do. Right now she seems excited to try basketball, but I have the feeling that she's going to want to return to ballet and/or gymnastics again after that.

Brielle likes Mommy to dress up as a princess/angel/fairy with her (yes, that's my wedding dress - she found it).
Happy Birthday, Brielle! We love you!
