This is the fifth snow storm to trap us at home. It's going to stay at or below freezing until Sunday, so all of this snow isn't going anywhere anytime soon. But it's the first snow event this winter that we've gotten to actually enjoy. The snow was beautiful, there was no wind, it wasn't extremely cold, and there was no chance of traffic so kids could sled in the streets. Some people in our neighborhood were skiing all the way to downtown...because they could. If we only had one snow event each winter and it looked like this, it would actually be kind of cool.
