Brielle and her classmates dressed up for an evening of poetry, set in a 60s cafe. Brielle recited a poem she wrote for Sujata. We're always amazed with how brave she is when performing in front of others. She couldn't stop smiling - she loved it!
One of her teachers is a theater person and had access to a bunch of fun costumes for the kids and the skills to direct the performance.

Mrs. Boggess (left) is the actress. Mrs. Deyo is on the right. She has two teachers because the class size was over 18 (the limit for the school district), so they had to add a second teacher (Mrs. Boggess came out of retirement to help out). Mrs. Deyo is actually moving up to 4th grade next year, so everyone in the class was given the option to continue with her if interested. Brielle gave a definite "yes". Her best friend in her class (below) will also be going with her. Her current class has an amazing, nice group of kids, according to the teachers, so it's a relief for us that she'll get to be with them again.
