This week, Granddad Scott came all the way from Florida for a visit! Brielle was really excited to see him and greeted him with a big hug. We had bad luck with weather, and I was still getting over a cold, so we spent most of our visit hanging out inside and playing (not that Brielle minded).
One night we headed out to dinner and the Rose Garden. Brielle looks like a mature little girl now.
At the Rose Garden, it was a little early in the season so only a few roses were in bloom. The rhododendrons looked great. Brielle was just excited to run freely.
"Bummer...Daddy caught me..."
Brielle loved Granddad's camera. It was just the right size for a little girl.
"Cheese!"
Brielle helped Mommy celebrate an early birthday celebration with gifts from Granddad. She also got to help open some shower gifts for her little brother. She wanted to play with them, but we told her they were "for the baby"...
...so she got the idea to have her baby doll play with the gifts.
"Thanks for a great visit, Granddad!"
