Grandmas and Tulips

Last weekend, Grandma Pat and Grandma Sue came to town! Brielle was very excited to see them and insisted they play with her almost non-stop. She loved having attention from two grandmas at once. If one of them left the room, she'd call for her to come back because she wanted BOTH of them with her. (At least Mommy got a break for a while.)

The timing of the visit was just right for visiting the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival, just south of Portland.

Brielle enjoyed the open space for running. But she's definitely getting more mature about listening to us about not running away or pulling on the flowers.

Her favorites were the purple ones, of course.

At 6 1/2 months pregnant, it's getting more difficult for me to chase after Brielle. Luckily Daddy had the situation covered.

He took her on the cow train...

...and on the slide and to the other kid play areas. She particularly liked this horse swing made out of a tire.

On our way home, we stopped by a winery.

I wasn't tasting, so Brielle and I explored the grounds.

Grandma Pat bought some tulips to enjoy at home.

We had a great visit with the grandmas!
