Bandon for birthdays

A few days after Brielle's birthday, we took a several day trip down to Bandon to visit Grammy Barbara, Kelly, and Rosie Dog! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, but here are some phone photos...

Lucky Brielle got yet another birthday celebration, complete with balloons, decorations, presents, and, of course, Grammy's vegan cupcakes.

Brielle received great gifts, including a large, fancy doll house. We couldn't let her open and assemble it, since it wouldn't fit in the car for the ride home. But Grammy showed her a photo of it and Brielle was excited but patient. It looks amazing in her room - lots of fun!

Ronan thoroughly enjoyed all the fun Bandon house activities that Brielle has been experiencing the past several years. He got to take Rosie for a walk, and he spent a lot of time in the swing they set up for the kids in their living room.

The timing of the trip was great, because we also got to celebrate Grammy's birthday! The kids each got her a little gift.

Brielle had fun helping Kelly make homemade vegan pizza for all of us. It was fantastic. Thanks, Kelly!

When Brielle was younger, she used to always smile for photos. Nowadays, she likes to experiment more with her expressions. She often claims that photos are only good if she's making a funny face. Here's her attempt at an "I'm sad" photo.

We also enjoyed a fun visit with Grandpa Taylor and Linda. We caught up on events, pet Sassi dog (to Ronan's delight), and ate some snacks. Brielle played on their piano, including a duet with Grandpa, and had fun taking photos with Mommy's cell phone, including this one:

On the last night, Kraig and I decided to have a night to ourselves at a nearby beach motel. This was actually the first time we left Ronan for the night. He was sick at the beginning of the trip, so we put off this outing until the last night and, thankfully, he did great. We stayed in a hotel we love with an amazing view.
