Last Friday, Brielle turned five years old! She had a celebration during school with her class, then we headed out to her favorite restaurant, Veggie Grill. The staff surprised her with a vegan pudding and sang "Happy Birthday". After dinner, we headed home so she could open gifts from family members.
Brielle received a lot of amazing gifts from family members - too many to mention here. Mommy and Daddy focused on giving her Taekwondo-related items. including a target to kick. She loves practicing at home.
Ronan gave her a "Wow Cup" ("As Seen on TV"). She's been seeing the commercials for it for months and has been begging us for one. It's a special cup that doesn't spill. What a good little brother!
Brielle was great about posing with each of her gifts so that we could send out personalized "thank-you" emails to family members.
Brielle enjoyed immediately putting on the new clothing she received and adorning herself with her new "hair pretties".
Ronan gets interested in Brielle's girly hair stuff and points to his head as if he's asking to wear them. However, once the barrette goes on, he pretty quickly senses that there's something wrong about the situation and quickly tries to pull it off..."Wait a minute...!"
