Last Saturday we visited the Woodburn Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival, just south of Portland.
You'll notice that I'm cutting my photos close to the horizon because I was trying to hide the 2000 or so other people who were there! The weather was pretty decent with blue skies and some sunshine near the end of our visit. Sometimes a visit to the tulip fields involves rain or jumping over mud puddles. So when a nice weekend comes along, so do all the crowds.

The kids enjoyed seeing all the bright colors and posing for photos in the fields.

After exploring the fields, we let the kids enjoy some time at the play area that was set up near the entrance.

And no visit is compete without a ride on the cow train.
