This week, Brielle's school took a field trip to a local pumpkin patch. I was able to join her and bring Ronan. We started off by visiting the animals, including goats, pigs, rabbits...

...and some super-cute kittens. Wow - I really miss having a cat. We'll get a kitten some day, but we'll hold off for a little longer. The kids loved watching them play and bat at their fingers.
This pumpkin patch was really nice, but unfortunately the weather was really rainy with strong winds. You'll notice there are more photos of Ronan because it took all my energy to try to keep him dry and safe as he climbed up onto the haystacks, while Brielle ran ahead to join her friends. He's so used to being around Brielle that he is very brave and wants to do things that the big kids do. He had fun.
Running through the haystack maze!
The rain got more intense, so it was actually a pretty quick, and wet, trip. We grabbed some small pumpkins and hopped aboard the train.
But the kids are much better than adults at handling imperfect situations. I think they had a really good time.
